SYN-3 - Enterprise Linux

We hebben de product matrix verduidelijkt en opgeschoond. Hierdoor is het duidelijker wat voor SYN-3 licenties er zijn en welke opties hier allemaal bij horen.

After extensive testing, SYN-3 version 4.3 release candidate 3 has been declared stable for production use.

From now on we recommend to use this version for new installations.

Binnenkort is het mogelijk om SugarCRM te krijgen in SYN-3.

Ook zal het mogelijk zijn om de gegevens van SugarCRM te laten syncroniseren met die van Zarafa. Zo heeft u geen dubelle administratie.

Verder is het mogelijk om uw SugarCRM installatie te kopellen met Asterisk: Zodra u een telefoontje krijg verschijnt er een popup in SugarCRM en kunt u met 1 klik de gegevens van de klant ophalen.

Naar buiten bellen is ook mogelijk met 1 simpelle klik.

Op http://demo.syn-3.eu is reeds een demo aanwezig van SugarCRM, inclusief de kopelling. (inloggen met demo/demo)

Altijd al meer willen weten over SYN-3?

Volg nu 1 van de SYN-3 cursussen bij het IOC. De cursussen worden gegeven door Linux engineers van DatuX.

Er zijn 2 cursussen:

• SYN-3 Clear, toegespits op het gebruik van SYN-3
• SYN-3 Sharp, toegespits op ontwikkelaars/geavanceerd systeembeheer. Leer ook zelf dingen doen/maken met SYN-3.

Enige Linux basis kennis is wel vereist. Om een idee te krijgen, wat voor voorkennis handig is, adviseren wij de volgende cursus als voor opleiding.

There is a 3rd release candidate available in the 4.3 installation CD. The only change is in the text-mode installation: This could not be started.

The CD is here to download. Existing 4.3 users can simply update - a reinstallation is needed.

There are again some improvements made to the shop:

• Preparations are made for the purchase of support contracts licenses: Soon more on this.
  
• Prices for dealers and prices per month are now clearly displayed.
• Information / help icons made clearer.

Using a Firefox plugin for Asterisk is possible to call a phone number when you click from one website!

This is ideal if you have an online calendar system or CRM package.

• You click a number on a website
  
• Your internal unit called word
• Once you pick the word number is called you clicked.

We will this year's Inspire Planet 2009 to present 3-SYN to represent the new Linux square. This year for the first time a unique Linux Linux Bizz square, where we will stand. The event takes place on October 8.

As of now there is an intelligent content filter for SYN-3: This filter called sites and analyzed to determine whether a sex-related site, this should be blocked.

Also downloads of example. Exe files are blocked.

This filter is available to test the updates available if you have the Advanced Filtering option. The filter can be set as proxy server on port 8080. See the help page.
