Version 4.2 is the latest version of Syn-3. We recommend this CD for new installations.
With this CD you can install all of our products: When you log on to the SCC for the first time, you can enter a registration code
or request it from the shop. Click on the shop link that is showed in
the registration screen.
The license codes for the Home Edition and Voice Server are free and can be requested by selecting the 'Try now'-button in our shop. You don't need a shop-account for this.
You can also order a original CD. (like the sample shown).
Installation:
- Boot the computer from this installation CD.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Make sure you enter correct information Internet: Internet access is required during installation and registration of Syn-3. - Wait until the device indicates that the SCC started.
- Open your browser to the IP you have chosen and log in with username root and password syn3.
Some new features in 4.2:
- Online help system available to all SCC pages
- SCC improved speed. The 'mission abort' disappears faster and works better.
- New traffic control module (available in shop)
- Syn-3 redundancy improvements: easier and less chance of problems associated with improper connection of network cables.
- Voice Server now includes latest asterisk with asterisk web interface.
- New monitoring system options: Use any details of your server in the shop request. Furthermore, you can use a special Monitoring client for Windows.
- Ability to network cards to link to other Zones.
- Latest version of many software packages.
