This SYN-3 version 4.3. This version is the recommended version to use.
With this CD you can install all of our products: When you first log on to the SCC for the first time, you can enter a registration code or request it from the shop. Click on the shop link that is showed in the registration screen.
The license codes for the Home Edition and Voice Server are free and can be requested by selecting the 'Try now'-button in our shop. You don't need a shop-account for this.

Installation:
The installation guide can be found on open.syn-3.nl. In short, it boils down to:
- Boot the computer from this installation CD.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Make sure you enter correct information Internet: Internet access is required during installation and registration of Syn-3. - Wait until the device indicates that the SCC started.
- Open your browser to the IP you have chosen and log in with username root and password syn3.
- Registration: In the SCC on the registration link and choose Direct Use of the product you want. A shop account you do not need.
New features in 4.3.1
- Text mode installer no longer worked in 4.3.
New features in 4.3 (2nd release candidate):
- Open Xchange replaced by Zarafa (you still have the option to open Xchange access via additional license option)
- Network check: This checks your network and Internet settings.
- Asterisk Voice Server is now completely out-of-the-box.
- Ability to 6 network cards.
- Fire Wallen on mac-address possible.
- Services Firewall now supports port ranges
- Improvements in traffic shaper module
- Major improvements advanced filtering proxy module
- Backup to multiple tapes possible. (restore not, here comes another update)
- Faster installation of updates
- Updated base system to glibc 2.5. (required for asterisk and samba latest versions)

The 2nd release candidate was required because of:
- Bugfix in installer
- Support for new Intel Gigabit network cards. (Dell OptiPlex)
- Network DNS worked until well after record check + update.
