A SYN-3 license is composed out of an list of options.
You start out with a certain license form and can upgrade it with additional options. These options provide additional functionality, additional software packages or additional users.

Business use
Business Server
This is aimed at smaller businesses and will start out at 5 users. After that the number of users can be increased with steps of 5 users, up to 50 users.
Advanced Business Server
This starts out with 50 users and can be increased with steps of 25 users, to an unlimited number. Because of the larger steps you will pay less per user. Because of the large number of users, its also possible to purchase this license with only the Internet, Mail or File option. This will safe you on licensing costs.
Voice Server
This is purely focused on VOIP and telephony via ISDN. There is compatible ISDN hardware for sale in our shop. Some other products are upgradeable with the Voice option.
Home use
Home Edition
The free Home Edition has almost the same functionality as the Business server, but may only be used at home. The number of users is limited to 5. Certain business features such as group management, redundancy and tape backups are missing.
Free Voice Server
The Free Voice Server may be used for business as well, but we recommended to use the normal Voice server for this. The Free Voice Server lacks support and certain business features such as redundancy.
Schools and Education
Education may only be used by schools and have the same functionality as the Business servers. The only difference is that the number of users is unlimited. There are 2 different prices, depending on the type of school.
Customized Licenses
On request it is also possible to have a special license for your own products and software packages. For example, we have licenses for Internet kiosks and Point of sale systems, that we have specially composed for our clients.
This has the advantage that you can focus on selling your product and not have to deal with technical matters such as:
- Distribution
- Installation
- Configuration
- Updates
- License management and billing
Your software package will be converted into a ready-to-install appliance, with your logos and branding.
