Fileserver with Syn-3

With Syn-3 is extremely easy to make an additional file server.

It is also possible to deploy SYN-3 as a full domain controller.

Easy management of file shares

With SYN-3 it is very easy to create new network "drives" or shares.

With a few clicks you can add a shares and set the rights.

In Windows you can easily access the created shares.

You can let your Windows clients join a SYN-3 domain controller.

This way all users that logon to a Windows desktop have access to their central home directory and their personal settings.

Each user can log in via FTP to get his home directory.

This allows users to access their files via the Internet.

(possibly through additional encryption with Windows PPTP)

You can use SYN-3 as a NAS with support for SMB (Windows) and FTP.

(Network Attached Storage)

Management of user- and group-quotas is easy with SYN-3:

Syn-3 also provides support for various network printing protocols.

The permissions of printers can be managed the same way as the permissions of file shares.

You can also store printer-drivers on the server.
